Fried rice recipe

Fried rice is a popular food at present because of its easy making way. Additionally, you might get to your favorite Chinese restaurant with a fast process. On the other hand, if you want to make it at home, it is possible. However, I am sharing how to make fried rice with an easy recipe. To make fried rice, you need rice, some eggs, baby carrots, peas, and soy sauce. To look good, you can use thinly sliced green onions.

What Is Fried Rice?

Fried rice comes from China, and this is a traditional food with them. When you cook rice with eggs, meat, soy sauce, and vegetables, we call it fried rice. Especially fried rice is fast, adaptable, and super easy to throw together with whatever is in your fridge, making it the perfect use for leftovers.

Fried rice variations 

There are some variations in fried rice. However, the variation depends on the ingredient. In bellow, I am sharing some variations on fried rice which are important to know.

Chicken Fried Rice

You may cook fried rice while sauteing chicken in a separate saute pan. After chopping or shredding it, add it to your fried rice. However, You could also slice any leftover roasted chicken breast from the meal.


Beef Fried Rice

Beef fried rice is another popular food. In a separate pan, you can use brown steak or ground beef while preparing fried rice. Then, you have to add the crumbled or diced meat to your rice.

Shrimp Fried Rice

Preparing shrimp fried rice is easy and takes less than thirty minutes. Anything you can add to fried rice, which is often composed of veggies, beaten eggs, and a protein such as the shrimp I am using in this recipe, as well as chicken, fish, and tofu.

Pork Fried Rice

While cooking fried rice, saute a pork chop without bones in a separate saute pan. Then, you have to dice and combine it with rice.

Vegetable Fried Rice

Any vegetable fit for stir-frying would also be good in fried rice. While the onions, carrots, peas, and garlic are cooking, sauté. Then, mix it into the fried rice.

 

Ingredient 

  • Chopped baby carrots Half cup.
  • Frozen green peas half cup.
  • Two tablespoons of vegetable oil.
  • One clove of garlic.
  • Two big eggs
  • Three cups of leftover cooked white rice
  • One tablespoon soy sauce.
  • Two teaspoons of sesame oil.

Best Fried Rice Recipe

Step 1

Carrots should place in a small pot filled with water. Raise to a simmer and bring to a low boil for three to five minutes. Then, the peas are added and immediately rinsed in a colander.

Step 2

You have to warm a wok over intense heat. Carrots, peas, and garlic are heated in vegetable oil for roughly thirty seconds after mixing. After that, you can Add the eggs and quickly whisk them into the vegetables.

Step 3

Mix cooked rice into the bowl. Then you have to Coat the rice with soy sauce by tossing it. Next, sprinkle with sesame oil and mix again.

Tips for prepare the best fried rice

Cold rice 

If you want to make the best fried rice, you must use Plain and cooked rice. However, warm rice that comes into touch with a hot pan will not cook correctly. So cold leftover rice is perfect for making it! If you are passing on a busy day, you can quickly make a fresh rice dish. Moreover, it makes unexpected cravings for fried rice, which you follow this recipe and push for it.  Moreover, The rice should spread out on a baking sheet or other broad, flat surface covered with plastic wrap. It has to be kept for thirty minutes or frozen for ten to fifteen minutes.

Butter

Japanese restaurants utilize a huge amount of butter while making fried rice after preparing multiple fried rice dishes with various oils. Generally, it improves flavor and accurately browns food. However, in Japanese restaurants, this dish uses just three tablespoons of butter for building tests.

veggies

One of my greatest babies does not have fried food if  lacks sufficient veggies. In addition to enhancing the flavor and freshness of fried rice, vegetables provide beautiful splashes of color. Local Chinese restaurants often include white and green onions. When you make it, you can use the same ingredient with this dish. However, feel free to adapt this recipe with some more delicious stir-fried veggies!

Use some extra soy sauce 

Everyone has different sensitivities to salt, and other soy sauce brands also contain dramatically different sodium levels. For making good taste, you can use a little bit of soy sauce in the recipe. In the end, if this tastes good, you must use extra soy sauce. 

Notes

If you have a cast-iron or nonstick pan, I recommend using one to prepare this recipe. However, any pan will suffice, you may need to mix the rice and eggs more often to avoid sticking.
